Community Guidelines
Last updated: Jul 17, 2026
Flompt is a community for discovering, creating, and sharing AI prompts. These Community Guidelines explain what is welcome on the platform, what is not allowed, and how moderation, enforcement, and appeals work. They apply to everything you post or share on Flompt: prompts, images, comments, messages, and profile information. They complement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; by using Flompt you agree to follow all three.
1. What Is Welcome
Flompt exists to help people get better results from AI. We encourage:
- Original prompts you created and tested, for any AI model (text, image, code, and more)
- Remixes and improvements of existing prompts, with credit to the original creator
- Example outputs that show what a prompt produces, clearly presented as AI-generated
- Constructive feedback, tips, and discussion in comments
- Honest profiles that represent who you are
2. Prohibited Content
The following content is not allowed anywhere on Flompt, including prompts, generated images, comments, messages, usernames, and profiles:
- Sexual or NSFW content: pornography, sexually explicit material, or prompts designed to produce it
- Hate and harassment: attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, gender, or sexual orientation; bullying, threats, or publishing someone's private information (doxxing)
- Violence: content that incites, glorifies, or provides instructions for violence, terrorism, or self-harm
- Illegal content and activity: content that violates applicable law or promotes illegal acts, including the sale of prohibited goods
- Impersonation: pretending to be another person, brand, or organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation
- Spam and manipulation: repetitive or deceptive posting, engagement farming, fake accounts, follow or like manipulation, or malicious links
- Misleading AI content: realistic AI-generated media presented as real, or synthetic content shared without the required AI label (see Section 7)
3. Child Safety: Zero Tolerance
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that sexualizes or endangers minors, whether real, AI-generated, or fictional. Such content is removed immediately, the account is permanently terminated without prior warning, and the report is escalated to the competent authorities and child protection organizations as required by law. See our Child Safety page for details.
4. How Moderation Works
Every prompt goes through review before it becomes publicly visible:
- New posts start in a pending state and are not shown in public feeds until approved
- Content is checked by automated systems and reviewed by our moderation team
- If a post is rejected, you are notified in the app with the reason for the decision
- Content that is reported after publication is re-reviewed and may be removed
5. Enforcement and Appeals
Consequences depend on the severity and frequency of the violation and are applied progressively:
- Rejection or removal of the violating content, with the reason stated
- Restriction of account features (for example posting or messaging) for repeated violations
- Temporary suspension or permanent termination of the account for serious or repeated violations
Severe violations, such as CSAM or credible threats of violence, lead to immediate permanent termination. If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, you can appeal it directly in the app from the notification about the decision; appeals are reviewed by a human.
6. Reporting Content and Users
Help us keep Flompt safe:
- Use the in-app report button on any prompt, comment, or profile to flag a suspected violation
- Reports are confidential; the reported user does not see who reported them
- For notices under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), or if you cannot use the app, email [email protected]
7. AI-Generated Content Labeling
Flompt is a platform about AI content, and transparency is part of the deal. Images generated with Flompt's built-in AI tools are labeled as AI-generated automatically. If you upload AI-generated or AI-edited media from elsewhere, especially realistic depictions of people, places, or events, you must present it as AI-generated and must not pass it off as authentic. Removing or obscuring AI labels is a violation of these Guidelines.
8. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines as the platform and applicable law evolve. Significant changes are announced in the app and reflected in the 'Last updated' date above.
